Certified Medication Aide

SGV joined the Eden Alternative on February19, 2015. It is a senior living community that is home to 250 individualslocated in downtown Roswell, GA.
Under the direct supervision of the Assisted Living shift supervisor, the caregiver provides assistance to the
residents of Wellington Court at St. George Village with activities of daily living including daily living,
to residents in a senior living community.

Customer Service: Responsible for effectively meeting customer needs by caring out established customer service /
guest relations protocols of SGV. Meeting the goal of having a very high degree of responsive and friendly customer
service for all customers and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction.
Safety: Follows departmental safety practices. Works safely and contributes to a safe work environment.
Qualification
Education and/or Experience Level 4: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in the geriatric field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Level 4: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Level 4: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability Level 5: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Certificate, Current CPR/First Aid and Safety Training( preferred but not required)
