Position Summary
As the Resident Design & Move Services Coordinator, you’ll be the right hand to our Marketing Director—blending administrative savvy with a flair for interior styling and move-in/move-out coordination. You’ll guide new and long-term residents through finishes selection, oversee apartment refresh projects, and ensure every transition into or out of St. George Village is seamless and stress-free.
What You’ll Do
Design & Finishes Coordination
Kick-off selections: Introduce new residents to our finishes palette—standard and upgraded options—and guide them through personalized choices.
Upgrade partnerships: Collaborate with existing residents to refresh and upgrade living spaces based on audit findings and evolving style trends.
Vendor negotiations: Source and negotiate competitive pricing for materials, custom upgrades, and installation services.
Ongoing curation: Monitor market trends to refresh finishes offerings, ensuring our community stays stylish and contemporary.
Move-In / Move-Out Management
Timeline mastery: Work closely with families and internal teams to schedule and supervise every move, from tour to occupancy.
Guest apartment coordination: Arrange temporary accommodations and logistics when refresh projects require resident relocation.
Sales support: Supervise Marketing Assistant in selling St. George Village’s move management services and space-planning consultations.
Apartment Turn-Over & Remarketing
Team leadership: Lead walkthroughs and grounds checks—keeping Maintenance and Housekeeping on point for quick turnover.
Quality assurance: Ensure every unit meets our high standards before re-listing for prospective residents.
Inquiry & Sales Backup
Client first impression: When the Marketing Director is away, field and qualify prospect inquiries, setting appointments that convert interest into residency.
Culture & Community Alignment
Person-Centered Care: Develop genuine, lasting relationships with residents—celebrating their unique stories and preferences.
Service excellence: Uphold St. George Village’s commitment to responsive, friendly customer service at every touchpoint.
Safety champion: Adhere to and promote all departmental safety practices—reporting and resolving hazards promptly.
Team contributor: Foster collaboration, trust, and mutual respect; view every colleague as an internal customer and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED; additional coursework or certification in Interior Design or related field preferred.
1–3 months of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and professional exposure.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication—able to craft reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Proficient in basic math and data interpretation (rates, ratios, percentages, bar graphs).
Solid problem-solving and common-sense reasoning within standardized processes.
Comfortable reading blueprints, finish schedules, and technical procedures.
Certifications (preferred):
Degree or certification in Interior Design.
Telecom systems certification.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Physical Activity:
Periodic standing, walking, sitting, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
Occasional reaching, stooping, and climbing when inspecting apartments.
Work Environment:
Standard indoor office and residential settings.
Minimal exposure to humid conditions, mechanical parts, or outdoor elements.
Moderate noise (office equipment, light traffic).

Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Full-time (40+ hours weekly), with occasional evenings or weekends to support events and move-in schedules.
Reporting: This position reports directly to the Marketing Director.
